Need brake service in Las Vegas? Las Vegas Tire Shop handles brake service across Las Vegas, NV and the towns around it — measured first, quoted out the door, and walk-ins taken.
Brake Service done right
The wheels are already off, so pad and rotor measurements come with every tire job, whether or not you buy anything. We measure before we quote, put the whole number in one figure rather than adding fees at the counter, and torque every wheel to the vehicle's own spec on the way out.
- Out-the-door pricing — tires, mounting, balancing, stems, disposal and tax in one number.
- Measured, not eyeballed — tread depth on all four corners, and brakes while the wheels are off.
- Repaired where it can be repaired — a puncture in the tread crown is a patch-plug, not a new tire.
- Build dates read out loud — the DOT code tells you the week and year, and you hear it before it is mounted.
Measured in millimeters, not eyeballed
Brake pads have a thickness in millimeters, and rotors have a minimum thickness stamped into them. Those are numbers, not opinions. Because your wheels are already off for a tire job, we measure both and write them down. If you have plenty left, we tell you that and you drive away. If you are getting close, you get the measurement and a rough idea of how long it buys you, and you decide when.
Why a tire shop is an honest place to have brakes checked
The wheel is off already, so there is no labor to sell you just to take a look. A shop that has to pull four wheels before it can inspect brakes has a reason to find something. We do not. This is also where the line sits between us and a general repair shop: we handle brakes because the wheel is off, and we will say plainly when a job belongs with a full-service mechanic instead.
